About Amelia

The Roots of My Style

I have always believed that a sense of style is an extension of a sense of self. Growing up surrounded by the rich landscape, culture, and distinctive nature of North Carolina, I have always held Southern American charm as a fundamental pillar of my identity. My romance with curated visual experiences began at a young age, as I sifted through my mother’s extensive stacks of retail and home decor magazines. It was during one of those quiet afternoons that I discovered publications that instantly captivated me through their thoughtful design, aesthetic elegance, and reverence for the natural world.

For the very first time, I saw the soulful, creative world I felt so deeply connected to brought to life on the page. That early exposure ignited a lifelong obsession with the intersection of aesthetic beauty, curated visual experiences, appreciation for the natural world, and purposeful writing. To me, intentional design and powerful storytelling are not just professional choices, but a lifestyle and a way of moving through the world.

The Present Impact

I am now a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a marketing professional. Driven by a passion for strategic communications and advertising, I specialize in crafting compelling narratives that elevate brand identities and engage communities. Throughout my time at UNC, I have built a concrete foundation in public relations writing and brand management. My experience spans both ends of the marketing spectrum, allowing me to thrive in an integrated brand environment.

Global Scale: As the Client Relations Lead for a major campaign, I spearheaded a comprehensive strategy to introduce the international brand Wella Professionals to the U.S. market, curating high-level, seasonal marketing plans.

Regional Scale: During my time with Flow Automotive’s partnerships team, I managed digital communications and collaborated closely with marketing and content creation teams. I focused on building and elevating local partnerships across each community that Flow serves, driving meaningful, localized brand management.

Community Scale: Alongside local non-profits like Operation Xcel, I have managed event planning, crafted detailed media kits, and curated precise digital communications to drive community engagement.

Whether executing macro-level strategic planning, building community partnerships, or generating precise editorial copy, I deeply enjoy tailoring narratives to diverse audiences while maintaining brand integrity.

What makes my style unique is a refusal to separate data-driven strategy from high-level aesthetic curation. I am a member of a digital-first generation, yet I possess a deep, reverent love for the tactile elegance of print media and classic design. I bring a unique perspective to the industry: the ability to translate the unparalleled experience of soulful writing and visual beauty into the digital age. My passion rests in designing experiences that evoke true feeling. I view a brand’s identity through the lens of experiential storytelling, ensuring every touchpoint feels authentic, intentional, and visually striking.
